Where have I been during midsummer in the last decade? I thought I would look at my photos to jog my memory. I don’t have photos from the solstice on every year. For example, the last photo I took this year was a week ago in Mumbai; that’s the featured photo. So I just put together a photo selected from June each year, as close as I could get to the solstice.

2011: Paris (the Eiffel tower)

Like Todd above, I like the idea of having a photo from each year. I have recently been going back through the years of accumulation [thank heavens for digital files] culling out ones not thought worth keeping. It brought back many memories. Now I have a good idea on how to share some of those memories with others.

Thanks. Digital file are wonderful, but I like going through the older photos too: shoe boxes full of them. It is much harder work to blog those, though.
