Moping on Monday

There are days when you don’t feel like saying much. You want to think about a walk on the beach at sunset.

The breeze was warm, and the sky was turning gold.

Children were running around blowing soap bubbles into the air. You noticed the reflection of clouds in the bubbles.

And the shimmer of colours refracted through the soap. Memories to get you through half a day.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.

  1. This reminded me of those sunny days of childhood past, when a simple speckle of dust could be followed with ones eyes for a long time, until it finally reached the ground; lovely post, especially on a Monday!
