Things we didn’t do this weekend

We didn’t go to the ballet.

We didn’t go for dinner afterwards.

We didn’t stay out late at bars.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.

  1. I fumed over the stuff coming out of the “president’s” mouth, wrote a blog post about it, walked my dogs, talked to the kids, started a painting. Probably what I would have done anyway but there is the THING that hangs over everything.

“Do you want to have dinner at our house?” asked the little boy.

“When the virus is over,” I answer.

    and there you have it.

      1. Naw. I was warned that could happen, though… Usually my prescient dreams are a lot weirder and superficially far-fetched than these dreams were. Then when they “come true” I’m reassured that reality is stranger than fantasy… 😀

  2. I have finally reached the point where when I start to long for something now past, I tell my self to be grateful I had that experience [many never did, never will] and find three items to be grateful for now. It doesn’t always work, but it helps.
