Counting the days

Finally, the tickets are booked. I’m looking forward to a trip through the Himalayas again. Wonderful views would be great, but no views, just fog, is also welcome.

There are very few things I want in life (only about a hundred and forty seven), and the pandemic has taught me to seek a balance between them.

I travel on work. When that gets too tiring then I relax by travelling for holidays. The holidays are pretty hectic, so I need to unwind by getting back home. But that means work.

  1. Wonderful foggy mountain views! I hope your trip works out and you share lots of photos! We can’t go anywhere at the moment, even a day trip within our own country, but I’m hoping for wider horizons again one day …

      1. Yes, and have been all winter. Case numbers seem to be falling now, thankfully, and the vaccination programme is going well, so we’re hoping for an end to lockdown in the spring.

  2. Oh, how fortunate! Wishing you a pleasant and rewarding trip with many photos to share! We can go inside the country as well, but we have so much snow this year that it is not an option.
