Like everyone with a smart phone or camera, I’ve been taking street photos for years. So there’s nothing particularly special about the ones you see here. You could just look at them and move on. Or you can treat them as a challenge. Can you tell where each one is from? Count the featured photo as numero uno. The rest are numbered in the caption for your convenience.

You could just try to guess the continent, say South America. Or the country, say Ghana. But there are probably enough clues in the photos to tell you more. If you play along, it will be nice to have the reasons for your guess. But you could just leave your answers if you don’t want to type so much.
#1 is perhaps from Asia, a Muslim Country ?, # 2 could be a Market Hall in Spain, # 3 was taken in Sony Center, Berlin, #4 no idea!

Rather good, that’s two out of 4. #1 is USA. #2 is indeed a market hall in Spain. #3: perfectly spotted #4 China

The first one, I guess, is from the USA.
There is an American flag, all the captions are in English only.
And on the umbrellas, it says SABRETT, which would lead me to believe that it is in New York or New Jersey.
Also, they openly offer HALAL FOOD, so it can’t be in Kentucky or so, where they’d be shot for that by some weirdo.

The second one must be a touristy place, because the ladies keep their backpacks to their chest. That’s a silly thing which you would never do in your home town.
People are wearing shorts, so it must be somewhere warm.
I can’t make out any other word, except DELICATTESSEN, which makes me think USA as well. This would also fit with grown-up men going out in shorts.
Actually, the clientele makes me think of the passengers of a cruise.
I would guess somewhere in the Caribbean, either on the US coast or on of the islands mainly catering to US cruise ships.

Interesting arguments, and correct. It is a very touristy place. On land. Barcelona.

The third one is huge and glitzy and oversized (notice the many empty chairs).
It gives off the feeling of an airport, and those are getting more and more similar all over the world.
I can’t make out any of the writing or signs, so no idea. 😦

Not an airport, but an interesting argument. It is Berlin

The fourth photo looks like Asia, but I guess you want to have more specific replies.
Never really having been to Asia, I have no idea, though. The bicycle is a cliché for China, but I am sure people also have bicycles in Vietnam or in Laos.

That was China

Not so easy. Chinese people in the last pic and Europeans in the first – Malaysia? KL? Doesn’t look swish enough for Singapore or HK

China is right for 4. The first is from the US

I misunderstood. I thought they were all the same country. Never mind.

Featured image from Asia India/ Pakistan?
Because I see typical Indian/Pakistan food stall.
Rest I am unable to guess.
Love your quiz.

If not for the cellphone, it could be the 80s. Amazing.

Yes, the Sony Center is very interesting photographically after everything shuts down
